The Harrison & The Ottoking

A quietly confident classic.

Built To Last a Lifetime.

The Harrison is a fixed-back sofa in the English tradition, with a gently curved silhouette, deep-filled cushions and the kind of upright comfort that holds you up at the end of a long day. The Ottoking Footstool is the ultimate statement piece, designed with both scale and sophistication in mind. As the largest of our footstools, it perfectly complements our larger sofas and corner sofas, creating a cohesive and luxurious living space.

Both built to order in our Co. Laois workshop, in any of more than a hundred fabrics — including Leni, our exclusive plain rust and rust-striped weave, this season's best-selling fabric.

The making

From forest to factory.

Built over six to eight weeks. Designed to last a lifetime.

Every Harrison begins the day you order it. The beech frame is hand-carved on site in Emo. The springs are hand-tied. The cushions are filled by people who have been filling cushions, in many cases, for over twenty years. None of this is the fastest way to make a sofa. It is the way that produces a sofa we are willing to guarantee for two decades and re-cover decades after that.

If you would like to see it being done, our factory showroom in Emo lets you walk through the workshop on your visit.
