Half way through the season, we meet Kevin Desmond and his partner Joe who carried out extensive work to restore their Dublin property, paying particular attention to the features of an 1830’s house. We see our Alexandra Sofa, in the living room, this sofa epitomises classical elegance on a grand scale. This is Finline’s third sofa that got featured in this season of Home of The Year.
“What a terrific home to be going through to the final,” says judge and architect Hugh Wallace of the lovingly restored 19th-century Dublin home. “I think this will be a difficult home to beat.”
The judges gave Kevin’s home a score of 26 which was enough to get this beautiful property into the final. Best of luck to Kevin in the final
