Irish Interior Designers Top Choice For Quality, Affordable Sofas
A room is shaped by the pieces you choose to include. We asked three interior designers to share which sofas from Finline Furniture they chose recently, or to tell us about pieces they return to, for both style and practicality.

Choosing a sofa for a smaller room is tricky. It needs to fit comfortably while offering thoughtful, stylish design. Deirdre O’Connell of DTale Interior Design used the Heidi in a recent interior design project in Kildare: “The Heidi sofa meets the brief on a number of levels. With sloped arms and lifted legs, it’s graceful and elegant, sitting proud in its compact form. We chose an easy-clean, hard-wearing cream fabric, with a subtle pattern and a dark leg to match the scheme. In this beautiful hallway in a period Irish home, interior designer Luigia Panfili of Studio Panfili, Galway. Luigia chose the Alice for its classic elegance. “We took our cues from the beauty of classic, old-English country house design. The Alice fitted perfectly, both in size and look. I’ve used this chair in a number of rooms, in a number of ways – as a living room chair, and even a bedroom chair. I love its sculptural silhouette.” The Alice Armchair is available in Finline’s January sale from €663.
