Leadtime & Delivery

Leadtime

When ordering your furniture our sales staff will inform you of exact lead times. Lead times can vary during the year depending on levels of business and the availability of fabric from our international suppliers. Our average lead-time from order confirmation to delivery is between 6 and 8 weeks.

Please contact us on info@finlinefurniture.ie should you require any further information on our lead-times.

Finline requires that goods be paid for in full prior to delivery.

Delivery – We deliver Nationwide

Finline Furniture do not use our own delivery service but we use two experienced companies to deliver on our behalf.
Both companies have been partners of Finline for many years and provide an excellent and efficient service.
We can deliver Nationwide and Delivery charges vary between €60 and €140 depending on location. Contact us for further details about delivery to your area – 05786 26219
Orders can be picked up from our factory in Emo, Co. Laois in protective packaging should customers wish.
Where possible both our partner companies will deliver at a time that is convenient for our customers.
Furniture will be placed in a room of customers choice and packaging taken away.

Please note Finline Furniture cannot accept responsibility should any damage occur in a home during a delivery. We ask that you supervise the delivery to your satisfaction.

Also Finline cannot accept responsibility should an item not fit into a room or space. We supply all customers with spec sheets and dimensions of all our pieces, these are also available in each of the furniture product pages on the website. If you do feel there might be an issue with the piece fitting into a room or through a narrow door or hallway, we would ask for photos and measurements of the space and we can determine if the sofa, chair or corner sofa will fit – we can do this before the order is confirmed. Other options like amending the shape of the frame or making detachable legs can be an option (but is generally a last resort).

ACCESS & DELIVERY

Congratulations! You have done the hard part & chosen a style, comfort & size that suits you. We aim to make your furniture within the time frame stated on your order. Each piece is made to order individually for each customer. We only make the furniture, we cannot guarantee it will fit. We use a third party Carrier Company who are experienced in home furniture deliveries however they are not magicians. Customers need to ensure there is adequate access to install the furniture & that the size of the sofa will fit in its designated space and through doorways & hall space. The Carrier Company will make every effort to place your pieces in your specific room if this is possible. However we cannot accept liability for any occurrences that might take place from there on in. See below for issues to look out for.

The following are things to look out for:

  • Going up Stairs.
  • Around Tight Corners.
  • Is your suite wider or longer than 2m high (standard door way) or is there a small door way.
  • Any fixed impediments in the way – Light fittings/radiators/cabinets. Driveway big enough for bin lorry – That is generally the size of our delivery trucks.
  • Doors open all the way, can they be taken off in advance of delivery?

If YOU FEEL THERE MAY BE AN ISSUE WE SUGGEST YOU DO THE FOLLOWING:

Take photos of the journey the sofa will take from the front door to its destination as near to placing the order as possible. Please provide door frame width & height as well as hallway width & ceiling heights. The earlier we have these details the better. Send these details on to your sales assistant in order to prevent any issues during delivery. At this point we may make recommendations or suggestions to prevent issues on delivery. Once delivery is received, please remember to turn your seat and back cushions frequently.
